Here’s a look at a new image Sam prepared for ACME Archives and Lucasfilm. Meticulously built in vectors, and colored in Photoshop, Sam’s image portrays popular characters from the Dark Side in this striking commemoration of the 30th anniversary of Empire Strikes Back. Dave helped complete the image by working with Sam on re-producing a four-color-process printing effect as found in the Marvel Star Wars comics. Officially released at the Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, signed Artist Edition prints will be available soon at our sister site, Moon Toad Productions.

Extraordinary circumstances call for extraordinary results. In this unique project, Dave restored a cherished family photo that was brought to him after the client’s dog chewed it to pieces. The site also features some exciting HTML5 upgrades such as rounded-edge and translucent divisions.

Dave used his knowledge of PHP and CSS to put together this site as the basis for a larger e-commerce network that he’ll build for the Kesslers over the next few weeks.

Here’s a look at some materials Dave created while working with RETN in 2008. Some of the images depict graphics which were made for broadcast, while other images depict a set of four handbills that were designed and printed for the Champlain College Tech-Jam. Working with RETN (under Doug Dunbebin and Scott Campitelli) was a great experience and a great introduction to broadcast standards, film editing and motion graphics. We’ve since gone on to create broadcast projects for an array of clients!

While there are good ways and bad ways to manipulate photographs, few would deny that some enhancement and color correction is almost always necessary. Framed works and stretched canvases filled the dining room of this popular local gathering spot with an exotic burst of color during the month of April. Here’s a look at a few pictures from a recent project at the Founder’s Elementary School in Essex, VT. Internationally renowned fiber artist Lisa Klakulak spent two weeks teaching the children the many wonders of felt. Through demonstrations, videos, and plenty of hands-on projects, Lisa helped the children gain an appreciation for this ancient and versatile material. Royalties Media was on-hand to capture the event on film. Dave shot hi-res still images as well as several hours of hi-def and standard-def video footage. The images and film collected will be incorporated in several of Lisa’s marketing materials, including an upcoming DVD and promo spots.
