Here’s an updated look at the Bone Ghost Agents previously mentioned in 2009. Working with our friend Eric Nocella Diaz (aka Argonaut Resins), Sam created the Bone Ghost Agent limited-edition resin figure. Sculpted by Eric, while designed and individually hand-painted by Sam, the Bone Ghost Agents have been a tremendously successful project: selling out all sculpts to date. Adding to collector value, each figure was sold packaged with a signed print and Certificate of Authenticity. See pics below for 2010 product development.

Here’s a look at another great new image from Sam, “The Discs of TRON.” Prepared for ACME Archives and Lucasfilm, this image celebrates the arrival of TRON Legacy. Signed Artist Edition prints are available at our sister site, Moon Toad Productions.

Here’s a look at a new image Sam prepared for ACME Archives and Lucasfilm. Meticulously built in vectors, and colored in Photoshop, Sam’s image portrays popular characters from the Dark Side in this striking commemoration of the 30th anniversary of Empire Strikes Back. Dave helped complete the image by working with Sam on re-producing a four-color-process printing effect as found in the Marvel Star Wars comics. Officially released at the Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, signed Artist Edition prints will be available soon at our sister site, Moon Toad Productions.

In keeping with our previous posts on past events, here’s a look at our show at the Wootini Gallery way back in 2005. Sam pulled out all the stops with a huge body of new work. Working together, we created an enormous selection of merchandise for the show including shirts, posters, stretched canvases, toy prototypes, pix-cels and more. Pretty amazing, eh? (Especially considering we could scarcely work a digital camera in those days!) Enjoy the gallery below.

Here’s a look at the show we did for Sam at the Rivet Gallery in Columbus, Ohio in 2008. Along with the creation of the art and custom vinyl figures, we also framed and matted the pieces, handled logistics, and created a partially opaque vinyl decal for the gallery window. For examples, please browse the images below.

Along with our commercial work, Royalties Media regularly invests considerable energy in the development of our own intellectual properties. While it wouldn’t be prudent to share with you closely guarded secrets and pitch bibles, we would like to use this post to give you an overview of some of the incredible character design Sam has come up with. (Image samples below. Full-screen slideshow may load slowly: please be patient.)

Here’s a look at some illustrations Sam did for the Johnny Ramone Army. Working from concepts by JRA Chief of Staff John Cafiero (Osaka Popstar), Sam delivered a set of illustrations which have since appeared on apparel, VIP passes, buttons, patches and lots of other great merchandise. To see the animation we worked on for the Johnny Ramone Army (under Executive Producer Linda Ramone & Producer John Cafiero), please click here. To visit the JRA website, please click here.

With character design by Royalties’ co-founder, Sam Fout, Luck Panda is another merchandising concept we developed in 2007. Working with Diamond Comics and a sculpting partner, the character concept was revealed at the 2007 International ToyFair in New York. Though it was never one of Sam’s favorite properties, the Luck Panda prototype does claim the dubious distinction of having been stolen from a full display case in Diamond’s showroom in the Manhattan Toy District building.
