Royalties Media proudly announces the launch of one of our latest sites, http://emilywaltercmt.com/ Powered by WordPress and built on the Constructor theme, Emily’s site employs a handful of excellent features such as Shadowbox image galleries, a spam-preventing Contact form, Google maps, PayPal services, a personalized favicon, and more.

Dave built the site from start to finish, including the creation of all original graphics, photography, CSS layout, etc. Stock elements were either sourced by Dave or provided by the client. The site also features some exciting HTML5 upgrades such as rounded-edge and translucent divisions.

In previous posts looking over past events, we’ve given you a look at tradeshow exhibits we’ve produced. Royalties also regularly produces artwork for local and national art venues. While not typically as large-scale or big-budget as tradeshow displays, art shows require significant planning and investment. From image selections to matting and framing to hanging the show, preparing works for public consumption is often an under-appreciated labor of love. Sometimes the best jobs are the simple ones that are close to home! Here’s a look at a recent invitation created for Dave’s daughter’s 5th birthday party. This design was created with Photoshop and Illustrator (as well as with camera and scanner) and distributed via 4/1 print cards and the Internet.

Here’s a look at another killer project from 2008. Working with a prominent southeast events producer, we put together a rock poster for the Mars Volta show in Asheville, NC. Designed and lettered entirely by Royalties co-founder, Sam Fout.

A favorite project from 2008 was the shirt Dave put together for his good friends at Viva Espresso. While having the privilege to design an artist’s series shirt was a thrill, Dave was also especially stoked to be able to manage the entire shirt project. In keeping with a shared ethic of local and organic, Dave sourced incredibly high quality domestically produced shirts with local representation. In fact, these are some of the only all-natural, completely biodegradable, printed organic cotton shirts in the world! Even more impressive: they’re easy to produce, fast and affordable!

In 2008 Dave designed a new homepage scheme for Sam’s Unfinished Furniture. The page was coded for the Internet by their host, and has undergone several iterations in the past few years, but Dave’s fundamental design and layout remains intact. Among our favorite projects over the years has been creating vinyl decals. Issued in limited-editions of 1000 units/each and scaled to 4″ or less on the longest side, these tough little decals typically feature challenging feats of typography, stellar character design, unique graphic designs and custom die-cuts. To enhance marketing, many of our decals are 4/1 with additional graphics and contact information printed on the back. Screenprinted and UV coated, these decals are made to last a lifetime: field-tested for durability in the rigorous climates of Vermont and Ohio!
